Lead Vet Opportunity at Leeds Kirkstall Vets for Pets

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Vet to join our friendly team at Leeds Kirkstall Vets for Pets. The role involves mentoring a growing team of two vets and a strong nursing team, including four RVNs. The practice offers scope to shape current practices, streamline workflows, and drive clinical excellence for improved patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead on standards and processes, implement positive change, and help us become the practice of choice for pet owners in Leeds. Our team values an inclusive culture, strong clinical care, fear-free and pain-free treatment, and a close-knit community that enjoys activities outside of work such as hiking, meals out, and bowling.

Our facilities are excellent, providing all necessary equipment and space, along with opportunities for Journal Club and Clinical Meetings. Located in a vibrant city, Leeds offers easy access via road, rail, and air, with nearby parks and the Yorkshire countryside for leisure activities.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week), with no OOHs and Saturday shifts on a 1:3 rota. We are open to compressed hours for better work-life balance. Compensation includes a salary up to £80,000, a £5,000 relocation/welcome bonus, and standard benefits such as pension, healthcare, and paid memberships.
