Lead Vehicle Damage Assessor

Basic Salary: circa £55,000 (DOE). Working Hours: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours). Location: Preston.

Talented and efficient Lead Vehicle Damage Assessor to join this leading team.

Responsibilities
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
  • Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the VDA team, ensuring workflow, quality and productivity targets are consistently achieved
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and promoting best practice
Skills and Qualifications
  • Served a recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop and proven experience managing or leading a team.
  • Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
  • Must have previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, ideally be ATA qualified and have an up to date Audatex certificate.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, influence and develop others within the team.
