Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead in Fareham to head the Integration Team in the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required quality.

You will lead a fast-paced production area, develop team capabilities, report faults clearly, and provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required by the business.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills.
• A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
• Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Integration Engineering working on the Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of underwater robotics systems.
• Oversee integration of assemblies and sub-assemblies to customer specifications and company documentation.
• Coordinate offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
• Lead fault finding and repair activities and report issues in the required formats.
• Support continual improvement through change requests and feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
• Interpret designs and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
