Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham is seeking an Integration Team Lead to head the Integration Team responsible for assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and supporting equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

You will lead a fast-paced production area, manage deadlines, coach staff, and liaise with other departments to ensure configurations align with documentation and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience is essential
• Ability to lead a fast paced production area and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics
• Good knowledge in fibre optic termination, equipment and testing

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integration Team in assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and supporting equipment in line with the configuration document
• Ensure projects are completed on time and in-line with delivery schedules
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required
• Lead fault finding and repair as situations dictate and report issues
• Interpret designs and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes
• Maintain 6S and health and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver objectives and deadlines
