Job summary

Saab UK Fareham seeks an Integration Team Lead to head the Integration Team responsible for the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment, ensuring projects meet the configuration documentation and delivery schedules.

You will lead a fast-paced production area, drive timely completion, and ensure high quality by coordinating with engineering, testing and customer requirements, while upholding 6S and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
• Ability to lead a fast paced production area and ensure deadlines are being met.
• Strong communication skills.
• A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
• Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integration Team in the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment.
• Ensure projects are completed in time and in-line with delivery schedules.
• Align work with the configuration documents and customer requirements.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
• Promote 6S, health and safety, and continuous improvement in the team.
