Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead for the Fareham site to lead the Integration Team in the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and aligned with delivery schedules.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and an electronics background. You will oversee testing and commissioning, including offsite activities, and drive quality improvements in line with customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have proven team leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
• Good knowledge of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Integration Engineering in assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotics systems.
• Ensure teams are trained to integrate all assemblies and sub-assemblies per customer specifications and documentation.
• Support testing of products and prove system functionality including auxiliaries.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
• Lead fault finding and repair, report faults in the required format.
• Capture change requests and contribute to product quality and efficiency improvements.
