Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking an experienced Supported Housing Manager to lead a Leicester-based service on-site. You will manage a team of support workers delivering high-quality services to vulnerable residents, ensuring safeguarding and contractual targets are met, and driving continuous improvement.

Salary is £40,000 per annum with a 40-hour week, on-site location in Leicester, and a benefits package including healthcare, cycle-to-work, and a referral programme.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of support workers in a housing or social care setting.
• Ability to manage budgets, performance, and compliance within a homelessness service.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to vulnerable people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of support workers to deliver high quality sessions for individuals facing homelessness.
• Manage and drive a high-performance culture through regular 1:1s, objective setting and appraisals.
• Support knowledge development and ensure policies and budgets are aligned.
• Fulfil line management responsibilities including annual leave and sickness management.
• Ensure service and property compliance and Health & Safety are maintained, escalating issues to senior management.
• Monitor contract performance and work with the team to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintain oversight of safeguarding matters and engage with external stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support rent management and welfare benefit queries to maximise rental income.
