Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Lead Systems Test Engineer to drive test capability across military platforms, domestically and internationally. You will oversee test equipment at regional centres and ensure alignment with engineering lifecycles, governance, and safety requirements.

The role reports to CS3 Head of Test Engineering and involves collaboration with multiple lines of business to deliver robust test strategies and solutions for end-of-life and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering test solutions for complex platforms, preferably defence electronics.
• Knowledge of test strategies and governance for through-life support.
• Ability to interpret product roadmaps and translate into test capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee test equipment in regional diagnostics and repair centres.
• Define and deliver technical test solutions and roadmaps for CS3 test engineering.
• Collaborate with CS3 Programme Leads and technology leaders to invest in test capability.
