Job summary
Leonardo invites applications for a Principal Supportability Engineer within the Through Life Services function, contributing to next-generation defence capabilities under UK programmes. You will help shape support concepts, product design and service strategies to ensure affordable, sustainable, and operationally effective solutions throughout the life-cycle.

Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Significant defence/aerospace experience applying supportability principles.
- Experience analysing reliability, maintenance or performance data.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of supportability activities across complex programmes.
- Define and validate supportability requirements throughout the lifecycle.
- Influence design decisions to improve reliability and through-life support.
- Develop support concepts, maintenance strategies and provisioning approaches.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support bids and business development with specialist supportability input.
- Produce analyses such as FMECA, Maintainability and LORA and related reports.
