Job summary

Leonardo, a global leader in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, seeks a Senior Supportability Engineer to shape through-life support for next‑gen products. You will analyse designs for reliability, maintainability and supportability across the lifecycle.

Based in the UK with hybrid working options, you’ll influence cross‑disciplinary teams and apply AR&M methodologies to defence programmes, ensuring operators perform at their best when it matters most.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting support design reviews with AR&M and customer meetings.
• Awareness of Defence Logistics Framework and Def Stan 00-600 in ILS contexts.
• Understanding of ILS methods: supportability analysis, safety, maintenance, and progressive assurance.

Responsibilities

• Own and contribute to various Supportability analysis tasks.
• Apply through-life costing principles to projects.
• Tailor programmes to standards and guidance.
• Produce work independently with sound judgement.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver holistic support solutions.
• Identify problems and propose practical improvements.
