An exciting opportunity for an experienced eating disorder dietician to lead on a new initiative across the HIOW Children and Young Peoples Eating Disorder care pathway. We are looking for an experienced 8A dietician to lead a newly developing dietetic service that will provide specialist dietetic intervention across our community and inpatient services, including Serenity Path Hospital and Austen House.
The successful candidate will lead on the creation of the service, ensuring the development of robust clinical dietetic pathways ensuring equity of delivery across all the related services. Development of the dietetic strategy will be a key component of this role, working alongside the Allied Health Professional Consultant. With a focus on recruitment, retention and professional development of the dieticians working within the service.
The role will allow for a mix of clinical, leadership and strategic tasks, ensuring a varied and stimulating post. The postholder and their team will work closely with the various multidisciplinary teams to provide collaborative, evidence based and needs lead care to young people.
Experience and knowledge of eating disorders when young people's eating is disordered in the context of other mental health difficulties is an essential skill set for this role.

To act as the Lead Specialist Dietitian, providing advanced clinical expertise within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Care Pathway, with a key role in shaping strategic developments related to nutrition and advancing evidence-based clinical practice.
Develop and lead a newly established Specialist Dietetic Service, ensuring strong clinical and strategic leadership.
Support the team in delivering a high-quality, evidence-based service aligned with the CAMHS Eating Disorder Care Pathway.
Work within the Specialist Dietetic Service, supporting young people and their families through their recovery journey across community, day service, and inpatient settings.
Develop inpatient strategy around disordered eating in context of co-occurring mental health difficulties.
Collaborate with the AHP Lead to develop a strategic vision for dietetics, fostering recruitment, retention, and professional development opportunities.
To develop and manage Dietetics care pathway and processes across specialist Dietetics service.
To manage a complex caseload.
To provide specialist clinical advice and input for clients with complex problems and needs.
To ensure dietetic contribution to the provision of quality clinical care and performance standards working in collaboration with the wider MDT.
To lead on the strategic planning, development and evaluation of dietetics in conjunction with wider system consideration and collaboration with parallel agencies.
