AB Boutique Hotels Ltd. opening Elysium St Mawes seeks a Lead Therapist to own the spa operations and deliver exceptional treatments within two treatment rooms and a hydro pool.

You will lead fellow therapists, ensure high standards of massage, facial and body services, and contribute to shaping a calm, personalised guest experience from day one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of spa, massage, facial and body treatments to consistently high standards.
• Conduct guest consultations to identify needs, preferences, contraindications and health considerations.
• Ensure spa guests are offered refreshments throughout their visit and spa spaces are clean and welcoming.
• Oversee day-to-day spa operations including hydro pool, treatment rooms, changing areas and relaxation spaces.

Job description

We’re looking for a Lead Therapist to join the opening team at Elysium St Mawes.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced therapist who wants to be part of something new and take real ownership of a small, beautifully designed spa within our new boutique hotel.

With two treatment rooms and a hydro pool, this will be a hands-on role combining exceptional treatment delivery with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the spa.

You’ll be creating a calm, welcoming and highly personalised experience for our guests, while also supporting the wider hotel team and helping us shape the spa experience from the very beginning.

What you will be doing

• Delivering a range of professional spa, massage, facial and body treatments to an consistently high standard
• Carrying out appropriate guest consultations before treatments, identifying individual needs, preferences, contraindications and any relevant health considerations.
• Ensuring all spa guests are offered and served refreshments, including drinks, throughout their visit
• Taking responsibility for the daily operation and presentation of the spa, ensuring the hydro pool, treatment rooms, changing areas and relaxation spaces are clean, welcoming and appropriately prepared throughout the day.
• Providing day-to-day leadership and support to other therapists working within the spa
• Leading by example in guest service, professional standards, punctuality, presentation and teamwork.
