Loungers’ Calvero Lounge is hiring a committed Sous Chef to lead kitchen shifts from prep to service, ensuring consistency and high standards. You will support the Head Chef, drive quality on the pass, manage stock and waste, and guide junior chefs in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The role offers a 48-hour contract (with a 40-hour option), paid overtime, a merit-based bonus, and progression opportunities within the Loungers group, including in-house training and development programmes.

Formación

• Experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent required.
• Ability to coach and develop kitchen staff.
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality dishes consistently.

Responsabilidades

• Lead kitchen shifts from prep to service, ensuring on-spec outputs.
• Support Head Chef in day-to-day operations and cover in their absence.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Oversee prep, stock control, waste management and shift handovers.
• Mentor and develop junior chefs to improve performance and outcomes.
