Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Gallico Lounge, a local café bar. You will lead kitchen shifts, support the Head Chef and ensure high standards across prep to plate.

• Experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role.
• Ability to lead shifts and maintain high standards.
• Proven teamwork and reliability in busy kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts, keep service smooth from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef, act in absence and maintain strong kitchen results.
• Set high pass standards for food quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
• Own key routines: prep, par, stock, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach the team to build skills and deliver great food.
