Job summary

Morlo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to lead the kitchen team and support the Head Chef. This permanent role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), overtime pay, an achievable bonus scheme and real progression opportunities.

You'll be at the heart of service, ensure top quality dishes, and mentor your team. Benefits include staff meal on shift, 50% discount on food and drinks from day one, and access to training programmes to Step-Up to GM/HC development.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
• Passionate cook with fresh ingredients and consistent quality.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach and develop the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, keeping service smooth and on spec from prep through to final plate.
• Serve as Head Chef's right hand, supporting daily operations and stepping in when needed.
• Maintain high standards on the pass, ensuring food quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
