Job summary

Loungers plc is seeking a Sous Chef for our busy Clavio Lounge kitchen. You will lead kitchen shifts, support the Head Chef and guide the team to deliver high-quality dishes every service.

As part of a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales, you’ll develop your skills through in-house training and progression programmes, with overtime and a strong bonus scheme. A 48-hour contract is offered, with flexible options.

Qualifications

• Fresh ingredients, clean specs, and consistent plating.
• Reliable, punctual, and fully committed.
• Leads by example and maintains high standards.
• Owns shifts in Head Chef's absence.
• Coaches and develops team members.
• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence and keep service on spec.
• Support Head Chef and ensure kitchen delivers strong results.
• Set tone for high standards on the pass.
• Own prep routines, stock control, waste and handovers.
• Coach and support the team to improve.
