Loungers plc's Sentado Lounge in Sittingbourne is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the pass, and help deliver high-quality dishes across service while upholding hygiene standards.

This role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), a competitive base salary with a bonus, overtime pay, and real progression opportunities within a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Previous sous chef or senior chef experience with progression to lead the pass.
• Ability to supervise kitchen operations during service.
• Commitment to high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and step up in their absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass with focus on quality and pace.
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop junior staff to improve skills.
