Job summary

Loungers' Sorbo Lounge, part of the Loungers Casual Dining group, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team in the Sorbo Lounge. You will lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is prepared to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready to take their next step.
• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence and keep service smooth.
• Set high standards for the pass, hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts from prep to final plate to keep service smooth.
• Support the Head Chef and cover in their absence.
• Maintain quality, pace, cleanliness and food safety on the pass.
• Oversee prep, stock, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop junior chefs to improve skills.
