Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for the Arboro Lounge kitchen, supporting the Head Chef, leading the team through service and ensuring every plate is proudly executed. If you love real cooking and take pride in the small things, you’ll fit right in.

This permanent role offers a 40- to 48-hour contract, base salary with bonus and overtime, shared tips, meals on shift, paid progression, and staff discounts from day one, with opportunities to grow within the Loungers family across England

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready to progress.
• Strong passion for fresh ingredients and consistent plating.
• Ability to lead by example and improve team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring service runs smoothly from prep to plate.
• Support Head Chef and step in during absence to maintain high standards.
• Maintain pass quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Oversee prep, par, stock control, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop team members to deliver great food every shift.
