Job summary

Loungers’ Romano Lounge is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets the brand’s high standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a passionate cook with pride in fresh ingredients and high standards.
• Reliable and punctual with strong team work and leadership.
• Capable of owning shifts in Head Chef's absence and maintaining pass standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts from prep to final plate with organisation and accuracy.
• Support Head Chef and step up in their absence to deliver strong results.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, pace, hygiene and safety on the pass.
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste, orders and smooth shift handovers.
• Coach and develop junior chefs to improve skills and confidence.
