Job summary

Croeso Lounge, part of Loungers, is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is of high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a busy hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication to manage a kitchen team.
• Commitment to high-quality cooking and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency across services.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring service runs smoothly from prep to plated dish.
• Support the Head Chef day-to-day and step in during absences to deliver strong kitchen results.
• Maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Own key routines like prep, par, stock, waste and shift handovers while coaching the team.
