Barratt Developments plc seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead construction on new developments across Scotland, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery. You will coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors, maintain NHBC compliance and provide excellent customer care throughout the build and handover process.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will drive site performance, manage costs, and uphold our high standards of workmanship while working in a hybrid office/site

Qualificações

• Extensive experience delivering build programmes and managing key priorities.
• Proven ability to consistently meet weekly targets through efficient labour management.
• Excellent communicator with focus on detail and compliance.
• Strong leadership and assertive skills to drive high quality on site.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Time served tradesman or equivalent qualifications; active professional accreditation (CIOB or NVQ5).
• In-depth knowledge of construction, NHBC standards and Building Regulations.
• Proven customer-facing experience, providing information, advice and issue resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Manage construction of a development from start to finish, ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate labour and resources to deliver the build programme and schedule trades.
• Control material levels to meet programme while minimising waste and cost.
• Ensure plots meet NHBC standards and Building Regulations; rectify defects promptly.
• Monitor production costs and approve contractor payments where appropriate.
• Lead plot inspections with Local Building Inspector or NHBC and address findings.
• Deliver site health and safety compliance and effective on-site communication.
• Support Sales with regular meetings to ensure smooth handover to customers.
