Our client is a leading company, offering research services to the Drug Discovery sector. They collaborate with lead researchers and organisations to enhance the understanding of immunological, oncological, neurological and other disease areas. They are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join their Cellular Sciences Team as a Lead Scientist within advanced microscopy and molecular biology. If you have built an extensive career and are a microscopy and imaging expert looking to work on exciting pre-clinical and ex vivo drug discovery projects and want to further your career, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
This is a role for highly experienced Scientists in Advanced Light Microscopy and cell-lineengineering who hold a PhD (or Master’s) in a biologically focused discipline and an extensive track record in post-doctoral or (ideally!) industrial positions. This is a technical role where you will still spend a significant amount of your time at the bench, but you will be responsible for delivering and strategizing projects through to completion.
