Job summary

A game development studio is seeking a Lead QA Tester to oversee and coordinate the QA team for AAA quality assurance on their titles. Job description

As the Lead QA Tester at BULKHEAD you will Lead and coordinate the QA team, internal and external, in the drive for AAA quality on WARDOGS, our player driven FPS sandbox!

You will own the quality direction for your team and champion best practices for testing, testing processes and testing tools to ensure our teams are working as efficiently and effectively as possible.

This is an in-studio role and this is non-negotiable however; we can offer bespoke relocation packages.

All candidates must be based in and have the right to work in the UK. At this time we are unable to offer any visa sponsorship for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate all Quality Assurance teams, be them internal or external, in a drive for "AAA" quality.
• Maintain an accurate view of project stability and quality across the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with production to track, triage and schedule bugs and their fixes.
• Champion best practices for testing, testing processes and testing tools to ensure our teams are working as efficiently and effectively as possible
• Ensure that all bugs from the QA team are recorded in an efficient and informative manner
• Design test plans, develop and execute test cases.
• Practical attitude towards problem solving and bug fixing.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
