SSEN Transmission is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to drive the development and delivery of high-value transmission projects in Scotland. The role covers從 initial development through delivery, commissioning and handover to operations, with 50% office presence in Scottish locations.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor engineers, ensure CDM and ESQCR compliance, and manage stakeholder relationships to deliver safe, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• Experience of project development and delivery within Transmission or similar industry, progressing from optioneering to design.
• Strong communication skills to present complex technical information and support decisions.
• Mentoring and coaching to develop engineers within the team.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support project teams in development and delivery across transmission projects, coordinating interfaces between disciplines.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to identify and mitigate design risks in pre-construction phase.
• Implement CDM procedures and regulatory requirements for substation and electrical systems design.
