Job summary

SSE's Transmission division is seeking a Development Project Manager based in Scotland. You will oversee multi-million pound infrastructure projects from feasibility through to planning submissions, steering design and stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time delivery.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage budgets above £10M, and maintain safety and environmental standards while building strong partnerships with contractors and local communities.

Qualifications

• Experience of project development through optioneering and initial design phases, delivering optimum solutions within timescales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and form project teams to deliver key milestones up to construction.
• Lead feasibility assessments, route and site selection, planning submissions and regulator submissions.
• Manage programmes, costs and resource schedules in line with governance.
