SSEN Transmission is seeking a Development Project Manager based in Scotland with a strong track record in taking large infrastructure projects from feasibility through initial design to delivery. You will oversee complex schemes, manage multi-disciplinary teams and navigate planning, land rights and regulator submissions.

The role focuses on safety, governance and delivering value within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding projects from feasibility through design to delivery.
• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and deliver on timescales.
• Track record of budgets of £10M+ and understanding electrical networks.
• Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and health and safety law.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts including E/C and Professional Services.

Responsabilités

• Identify and form an appropriate team to execute each project and lead delivery to construction.
• Lead feasibility work, route selection, land rights, planning applications and regulator submissions.
• Manage programmes, costs, resources and plans in line with governance.
• Build relationships with contractors, stakeholders and communities to enable delivery.
• Maintain safety, health and environmental performance and standards.
