Aspire People are supporting a welcoming primary school in Burton Latimer, Kettering, to recruit a qualified HLTA. The role involves leading pre-planned lessons, supporting individuals and groups, and contributing to pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in primary school environments.
• Ability to support pupils across different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver pre-planned lessons and activities.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and wellbeing.
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider school staff.
• Support pupils' progress through effective learning interventions.
• Take responsibility for a class or group when required.
• Contribute to the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and child-protection procedures.
