Job summary

Sisk Group in Warrington is seeking a Lead Planner/Planning Manager for our Life Science & Tech UK business. You will lead all planning and scheduling activities across design, procurement and construction, ensuring robust programmes aligned with contract requirements.

Reporting to the Project Controls Lead, you will mentor planners, drive recovery plans, manage interfaces, and provide senior management with timely progress, risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction planning and scheduling for multi-discipline projects.
• Proven ability to develop, maintain and monitor complex programmes.
• Strong knowledge of planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Experience coordinating planning with cost, risk and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver planning and scheduling across design, procurement and construction phases.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare short-term lookahead programmes and monthly progress reports.
• Provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders on planning issues.
• Maintain risk and opportunity registers related to planning.
• Mentor and develop junior planning staff and promote best practices.
