Job summary

Sisk in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Planner for a Life Sciences scheme in Bicester on a 6-month contract. The role leads planning across pre-construction and construction, coordinating design, procurement and execution to deliver milestones on time.

You will develop baseline programmes, produce 4D/2D outputs, manage risks and reporting, and support the management team with timely information. Experience with UK/EU contracts and strong IT and planning software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Successful track record of working with clients, contractors and other stakeholders on live construction projects.
• Experience managing Planning teams
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Knowledge of industry best practice

Responsibilities

• Lead in development of baseline contract programme covering design, procurement and construction. Ensure logic links and critical path.
• Prepare tender event programme for subcontractors including lead-in activities.
• Maintain electronic files and CDE-based planning documents for easy retrieval.
• Develop 4D/2D planning representations to show sequence, phasing and logistics.
• Support management with regular weekly/monthly progress reporting and KPI tracking.
• Mentor and PDPs with assistant planners to drive development actions.
• Coordinate with site teams on planning and programme management.
• Review risk and opportunities, highlighting mitigations in the schedule.
