Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Lead Planner/Planning Manager in the UK to own the development, maintenance and delivery of robust project programmes across design, procurement and construction phases. You will guide project teams, drive proactive decision-making and ensure schedules align with contractual milestones and client expectations.

The role requires extensive experience in construction planning, expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project, and strong leadership to mentor junior planners while

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in planning management on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating planning with cost, risk and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage project schedules for design, procurement and construction phases.
• Monitor programme progress, identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare and update short-term lookahead programmes and monthly progress reports.
• Liaise with project teams to coordinate interfaces and dependencies across discipline.
• Mentor and develop planning staff and promote best practices in planning.
