Job summary

Boots is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products, while supporting store services and ensuring high standards of care. You will coach and lead the dispensary team, assist with patient triage, and maintain safe and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI) and committed to safe, ethical decision-making.
• Experience or willingness to coach and lead a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines, products or Macmillan Cancer Support.
• Delivering services as required by store needs.
• Building relationships with the pharmacy team and coaching them to deliver high standards of care.
• Assisting with triage of patients and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Maintaining legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Managing operational tasks including stock replenishment, workload management and order fulfilment.
