Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is seeking an MEP Agent in Coventry to lead day-to-day delivery of MEP construction activities on HS2. You will coordinate Design, Engineering, Construction and Commercial teams to ensure works are safe, on schedule and compliant with project specifications.

Responsibilities include reviewing methodologies and risk assessments, monitoring progress, supporting testing and handover, and maintaining site records. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering MEP works in major construction/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary site activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe delivery of MEP works across assigned sections of the project; coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to meet programme milestones.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Review and implement construction methodologies, work package plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor construction progress and identify mitigation measures to minimise delays.
• Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems and civil, structural and architectural works.
• Manage site resources, materials, plant and labour requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and project standards.
• Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and change management activities.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and project documentation.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and project teams.
