Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is delivering HS2 facilities in the Midlands and Birmingham region. The MEP Planner will develop, monitor, and maintain detailed MEP programmes across construction projects, ensuring coordination with the overall programme and timely delivery.

Based in Birmingham, you will work with design teams and subcontractors to align MEP activities with critical milestones, manage risks, and support project delivery in a dynamic, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience as MEP Planner, Project Planner, Planning Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction sequencing.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed MEP programmes from design through commissioning and handover.
• Integrate MEP activities into the master construction programme.
• Produce look-ahead schedules and track milestones.
• Monitor progress and forecast delays; update schedules.
• Coordinate with design consultants and subcontractors.
