Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is delivering the MEP packages for HS2 in the Midlands, coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health works across a major infrastructure project. The MEP Package Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality, and manage budgets, schedules and client relations.

The role focuses on delivering on time, within budget, and in line with client requirements, with strong emphasis on design coordination and handover processes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MEP packages on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage design coordination, commissioning, and handover.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Manage all MEP packages from procurement to commissioning and handover.
• Commercial Management: Support procurement, review valuations and variations, monitor budgets.
• Technical Management: Review MEP designs, resolve conflicts, ensure compliance and testing.
• Health, Safety & Quality: Promote safety culture, inspections and defect resolution.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain client/consultant relationships, attend progress meetings and report status.
