Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is recruiting a Foreperson/Site Lead for HS2 in the Midlands, based in Birmingham. You will supervise MEP construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure work complies with safety, drawings and specifications on a major rail infrastructure project.

The role requires strong leadership and hands-on site management, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes within a live construction environment. Flexible working options may be discussed to suit project needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading site teams on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health installation activities.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily MEP construction activities, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality.
• Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, plant, materials and equipment to meet milestones.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks and stand-downs as required.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints and implement solutions to maintain programme.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities for MEP systems.
