Job summary

HS2 Ltd. is seeking an experienced MEP Agent in Birmingham to manage day-to-day delivery of MEP construction activities, ensuring safety, on-schedule completion, and compliance with project specifications.

You will coordinate MEP packages from planning through to installation, testing and commissioning. You will work closely with Design, Engineering, Construction and Commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery, maintain records, and support testing, commissioning and handover

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• Proven experience within site delivery, construction management or engineering roles involving MEP works.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe delivery of MEP works across assigned sections of the project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve programme milestones.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Review and implement construction methodologies, work package plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor construction progress and identify mitigation measures to minimise delays.
• Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems and civil, structural and architectural works.
• Manage site resources, materials, plant and labour requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and project standards.
• Assist with cost reporting, forecasting and change management activities; maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
