Glanua is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead a one-team culture and coordinate the electrical design for water and wastewater projects across the UK and Ireland.

You will manage design deliverables, mentor junior engineers, ensure CDM and HSE compliance, and collaborate with mechanical and civil teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions. This role requires travel within the UK and Ireland as needed.

Qualificações

• Chartered or Incorporated with the IET in water/wastewater design.
• Experience managing design quality control processes and budgets.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and mentor staff.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver design outputs for water and wastewater plants.
• Oversee electrical design from surveys to detailed drawings and tender pricing.
• Produce procurement specifications and perform cable calculations.
• Project manage third-party designs and coordinate with clients/subcontractors.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards are met.
• Monitor design delivery, manage changes, and keep MIDP up to date.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development.
