Job summary

GE Vernova in Stafford is seeking a Lead Project Manager to own HVDC transformer projects from handover to delivery and customer acceptance. You will coordinate engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and logistics in a global matrix, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Role requires managing budgets and risks, with strong stakeholder communication and a track record of delivering high-value engineering projects. Hybrid work from Stafford three days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex, high-value, customer-facing engineering, equipment or manufacturing projects.
• Experience taking ownership from handover through to delivery and customer acceptance.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budgets, forecasts and margins.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of HVDC transformer projects from handover to delivery and customer acceptance.
• Lead multiple projects or equipment packages concurrently with clear plans and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, logistics and other functions.
