Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on HVDC control and protection systems, automation, and verification. You will drive design excellence, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and provide technical leadership across Tendering, Commissioning, Service and third parties in international projects.

You will oversee design, testing, commissioning, and risk management while collaborating with customers and suppliers to deliver robust HVDC

Qualifications

Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Strong background in control & protection for HVDC/GRID systems.
Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of stakeholder presentations.

Responsibilities

Lead a multidiscipline team of engineers for control, protection, automation, HV & LV power systems, and verification & validation.
Provide technical leadership to project teams including Tendering, Commissioning, Service and 3rd parties.
Plan and progress all design engineering activities including testing and commissioning for specific projects.
Monitor budgets, risk, design reviews and change control per company guidelines.
Act as primary technical and project interface with customers and suppliers.
Ensure activities are cost-effective and meet contract specifications and safety standards.
