As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, representing our brand for those worried about gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You may deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, ensuring their safety. The role involves assisting vulnerable or elderly individuals and providing help, requiring empathy and pride in caring for people and maintaining safety in their homes.
The role is varied, including installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters, high-rise and gas safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. You must have a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification. A MET1 qualification is beneficial but not required. Experience with gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning is necessary.
An understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety is important. A full UK driving licence is required. We value pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership.
