Your responsibilities will vary daily, from installing gas meters to conducting safety surveys. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a CCN1 qualification, and a full UK driving license. Join a company that values diversity and offers opportunities for growth and development in a supportive environment.
Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll sometimes deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, playing a vital role in protecting lives. The customers could be vulnerable, elderly, or simply seeking help. Your empathy and pride in caring for people and ensuring their safety could make you a valued member of our team.
This role is varied: from installing, replacing, and maintaining gas meters for homes and businesses, to conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves. No two days are the same.
Experience and Qualifications
We seek excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You must have a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification to apply. A MET1 qualification is a plus but not essential. Experience in a gas environment, with knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning, is required.
Understanding of standards, legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety is important. A full UK driving license is also required. Ultimately, pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership are key qualities for the role.
If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. We value diversity and believe that understanding and celebrating differences helps us work better together. We provide learning and development programmes to help you grow your skills at Cadent.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
