As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You may need to coordinate with emergency services, ensuring the safety of our customers, who could be vulnerable, elderly, or seeking help. Your empathy and dedication to safety are essential qualities for this role.
This role is varied, involving installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial customers, conducting high-rise and gas safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are required. You must hold either a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification. A MET1 qualification is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in a gas environment, with good knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and commissioning, is also necessary.
