As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You’ll sometimes deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, protecting lives. Our customers may be vulnerable, elderly, or seeking help. Your empathy and pride in caring for people and keeping them safe could make you a valuable team member.
The role is varied, including installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and business customers, conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
We seek excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Candidates must have a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; a MET1 qualification is beneficial but not required. Experience in a gas environment, knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning are essential.
An understanding of standards, legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety is important. A full UK driving license is required. We value pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership, which are key to fitting into our team.
