Job description

Key Responsibilities

As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, representing our brand to those worried about gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.

You'll sometimes coordinate with emergency services, protecting lives, especially for vulnerable or elderly customers. Your empathy and pride in caring for people's safety are vital.

This varied role includes installing, replacing, and maintaining gas meters for residential and commercial clients, conducting high-rise and safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.

Experience and Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. You must hold a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; a MET1 is beneficial but not required. Experience with gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning is necessary.

An understanding of relevant standards, legislation, and health and safety practices is important, along with a full UK driving licence. Pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership are qualities that will make you a great fit.
