As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, serving as the face of our brand for those worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You may need to coordinate with emergency services on behalf of our customers, playing a vital role in protecting lives. Our customers may be vulnerable, elderly, or seeking assistance. Your empathy, pride in caring for people, and commitment to safety are essential qualities.
This role is diverse, involving installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial clients, conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are required. Candidates must hold a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; a MET1 qualification is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in a gas environment, including knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning, is necessary.
An understanding of relevant Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety protocols is important. A full UK driving license is also required. We value pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership, which align with our team culture.
