As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Sometimes you’ll deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, playing a vital role in protecting lives. You may work with vulnerable, elderly, or help-seeking individuals. Your empathy and pride in caring for people and ensuring their safety could define you as a Cadent team member.
This role is diverse, involving installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial customers, conducting high-rise and gas safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
We seek excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You must hold a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification to apply. A MET1 qualification is advantageous but not required. Experience with gas environments, appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning is essential.
An understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety is important, along with a full UK driving licence. Pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership are qualities that will make you a good fit.
