As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, acting as the face of our brand for those worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.

Key Responsibilities

You may deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, contributing to a team responsible for protecting lives. The role involves assisting vulnerable, elderly, or seeking-help customers, emphasizing empathy and pride in caring for people's safety in their homes. No two days are the same, involving installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial clients, conducting high-rise and gas safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.

Experience and Qualifications

We seek excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification. A MET1 qualification is beneficial but not essential. Experience in a gas environment, including knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning, is required. Understanding Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety is important, along with a full UK driving license. Pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership are key qualities.
