Keoghs is seeking a Lead File Handler to join our Industrial Disease team in Liverpool. You will own your caseload including NIHL and disease claims, guiding the team and providing clear instructions to support client outcomes.

You will mentor junior colleagues, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations while contributing to strategic growth and service excellence within a collaborative, sociable team.

Qualifications

• Manage caseloads including NIHL and disease claims.
• Review documents and evidence, progress claims, disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Manage your caseload efficiently, reviewing documents and evidence, handling disclosure, preparing reports, and progressing claims.
• Conduct investigations with Insurers and Insureds, gather and assess witness statements, instruct and liaise with experts.
• Attend court appointments, conferences, and trials, ensuring deadlines and court timetables are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, providing clear instructions and effective communication.
• Mentor and develop Assistant File Handlers, ensuring all work aligns with SRA Standards & Regulations and Keoghs Values.
