Davies in Liverpool is seeking a Lead File Handler to join our Industrial Disease team. You will own your caseload, manage NIHL and disease claims, and contribute to client outcomes with a proactive, professional approach.

You will shape team strategy, mentor assistants, and collaborate with insurers, solicitors, and clients. The role offers a supportive environment with clear career progression within a busy, respected firm.

Qualifications

• Own and manage a caseload of NIHL and other disease claims.
• Review documents, evidence and progress claims in a timely manner.
• Instruct and liaise with experts, insurers and insureds as part of investigations.

Responsibilities

• Manage your caseload efficiently, reviewing documents and evidence, handling disclosure, preparing reports, and progressing claims.
• Conduct investigations with Insurers and Insureds, gather and assess witness statements, instruct and liaise with experts.
• Attend court appointments, conferences, and trials, ensuring deadlines and court timetables are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, providing clear instructions and effective communication.
• Mentor and develop Assistant File Handlers, ensuring all work aligns with SRA Standards & Regulations and Keoghs Values.
